Let’s cut the crap. Ukraine cannot win this war. Not with another pile of your tax dollars, not with more of our missiles, and not with another round of tough talk from people who will never see the front line. Russia is not about to roll tanks into NATO territory either. That story has been the same empty threat for years, useful for fundraising and cable hits, useless for anything else.
This ends one of two ways: a deal, or a longer, bloodier grind that makes everything worse. Peace is the only way out. The longer the Washington Blob pretends otherwise and resists President Trump’s peace efforts, the more people die, the more money disappears, and the weaker we get on the things that actually matter, deterring China, the border, Iran, and keeping this country from sliding further into debt and dysfunction.
That’s the reality. No slogans, no victory speeches, just the hard math of a war that was never ours to win and a Russia that is not currently the existential threat to Europe the permanent war crowd needs it to be.
